Toe/Wheel overlap,
When I first saw this bike, it was so pretty! The color was beautiful. My boyfriend put it together and I began to ride. When I turned the wheel, it hit the tip of my foot! I’ve never experienced this before. It must be due to the 700c wheels. He threw the box out so now I can’t return it. I’ve read up on the subject and everyone says they got used to it and just adjusted the peddles when turning. We’ll see. I need to replace the seat, not very comfortable and I should buy gel gloves, my hands were hurting due to the roughness of the handlebar grips.

I got this bike from my mother in law for my birthday. I love it! I don’t have any problem like the previous poster with my foot hitting the tire. Frankly I can’t figure out how that is happening…I wear a size nine shoe and have tons of clearance. The seat looks fabulous and feels cushy when you push on it with your fingers but prolonged periods on it haven’t been real kind to my behind. I’m trying to find a similar looking seat with more gel or a gel cover. I do wish it had fenders and a back rack. I was looking at the one that came with them but I preferred the color of this one and figured I’d just add them later.

|Great bike, instructions misleading on one step,
The only factor that kept my star rating from a five was a misleading illustration that conflicted with the directions in the assembly instuctions about the stem elevation. I have another Schwinn Midmoor that I purchased last year and am also quite pleased with it. It clearly earned the high rating given by Consumer Reports.
